Vessels

Each vessel is lovingly made, one at a time by me, in my home studio.  I use a variety of glasses: Moretti, Vetrofond, Lauscha, ASK104, CIM, Double Helix or R4.  Each one is properly cleaned and annealed for beauty, strength and durability.  I fit them with a cork topper.  I then add a chain from the topper to the handle, so the topper doesn't get lost.

Click for Detail	Earthen Vessel Necklace What a beautiful necklace, it has a bit of whimsy to it. I hand forged a frame of sterling silver. The vessel in this necklace is one of my handmade lampwork hollow glass vessels in colors of smoke rings and a reduction frit that gives mottled colors of teal, golden yellow and green. The vessel is hollow with a corked topper. Since it is hollow, they can hold your favorite essential oil, perfume, magical potion or anything that can fit in a 3/16 inch hole. The topper, an accent bead and sterling silver beads wired thru the cork, is attached to the vessel by a sterling silver chain, so it won't get lost. I wire wrapped the vessel to the sterling silver frame with a smaller gauge of sterling wire. This necklace hangs on a beautiful hand dyed silk ribbon made by a wonderful etsian, kasbeads. All metal work and wire wrapping is done by me. It comes in a nice velvet bag.

Click for Detail	Caribean Lampwork Vessel This lampwork vessel is a beautiful turquoise with bright green frit melted in on the bottom.  It has a black neck and handle.  The topper, an accent bead and sterling silver beads wired thru a cork, is attached to the vessel by a sterling silver chain, so it won't get lost.  The cork fits snuggly, so you could hang it from a necklace by it's top with no problems.  The vessel, itself is approx. 29 mm tall by 30 mm wide, including the handle.  With the topper on, it is a total of 46 mm tall.  It is a hollow vessel, so it can holod your favorite essentail oil, perfume, magical potion or anything that can fit in a 3/16 inch hole. 1 in stock

Click for Detail	Vibrations Lampwork Vessel This vessel bead is a white vessel with a twisty of sky blue, bright green and black melted into the belly of the vessel, then pinched at intervals and a black dot at the pinch.  The topper, an accent bead and sterling silver beads wired thru a cork, is attached to the vessel by a sterling silver chain, so it won't get lost.  I added a couple flattened ribbons of the twisty to the topper for accent.  The cork fits very snuggly, so you could actually hang it from a necklace by it's top with no problems.  The vessel, itself is approx. 26 mm tall by 24 mm wide, including the handle.  With the topper on, it is a total of 50 mm tall.  It is a hollow vessel, so it can hold your favorite essential oil, perfume, magical potion or anything that can fit in a 3/16 inch hole. 1 in stock

Click for Detail	Passion Lampwork Vessel This vessel bead is a transparent purple vessel with a twisty of green, pink and purple melted in, then twisted at intervals.  The purple in the twisty was swallowed by the green portion, making a purple line thru the green.  The topper, an accent bead and gold-filled beads wired thru a cork, is attached to the vessel by a gold-filled chain, so it won't get lost.  The cork fits very snuggly, so you could actually hang it from a necklace by it's top with no problems.  The vessel, itself is approx. 28 mm tall by 22 mm wide, including the handle.  With the topper on, it is a total of 45 mm tall.  The vessel was made on a 3/16 inch mandrel, not my usual hollow vessel, but can still hold your favorite essential oil, perfume, magical potion or anything that can fit in a 3/16 inch hole. 1 in stock
